About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam combat veteran Carl J. Poydock, Jr. has requested PGR presence to honor his life and service to our country.  Carl passed away August 27, 2022.

For his honorable military service, Carl was awarded numerous medals, including the Purple Heart, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device and a Combat Infantry Badge.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will stand an honorable flagline for the arrival of our hero and his family and friends for a 10:00 a.m.  funeral mass.  After mass, we will stand for a dignified transfer and provide an escort to St. Mathews Cemetery, 180 French Rd., West Seneca, NY.  Carl will be interred in The Field of Valor® area, for interment with military honors.

Please arrive with a clean American or US Army flag to honor the service of another American Hero.
