About the Mission:

The family of Aaron Lloyd Wieland has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his funeral services.  Aaron, 38, passed suddenly on September 14, 2022.

Aaron, a proud Marine veteran, was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal, and for his service was awarded the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Iran Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Letter of Appreciation and Rifle and Pistol Qualification Badges.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR members will stand a flag line during visitation hours of 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
