About the Mission:
Western New York National Cemetery staff has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in unaccompanied Vietnam Veteran Leon Brozyna military honors funeral services. Mr. Brozyna passed 3 January 2025 at the age of 78.
He entered the US Army during December of 1968 at Fort Gordon, Georgia, serving his nation 20 years as a Telecommunication Specialist (MOS-75E40), including an 18 month tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Brozyna was honorably discharged as Chief Warrant Officer (CW2) on 31 December 1988. For his service he was awarded; Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross Of Gallantry w/Palm, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Overseas Service Ribbon and Expert Badge (M- 16).
Patriot Guard Riders will be Mr. Brozyna's family.
