About the Mission:

The staff of Gilmartin Funeral Home has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in the military honors funeral services of James R. Greene.  Mr. Greene passed 20 July 2024 at the age of 95.

Mr. Greene served our nation honorably in the US Army from 14 August 1950, to 14 February 1952 at Fort Bliss, Texas, as a AAA Gunner, Aircraft Warning Specialist.  Sadly, he has no known surviving family, and the staff at Gilmartin Funeral Home has requested a Patriot Guard Riders escort from the funeral home to the Western New York National Cemetery where only funeral home employees will be attending his services.

Patriot Guard Riders will become Mr. Greenes family and stand in his honor during his military honors funeral services.

Special Information:

Members will stand a flag line for the dignified transfer for our hero at 10:15 am.  We will then escort to the Western New York National Cemetery for 11:00 am interment with military honors.
