About the Mission:

On this upcoming 23rd Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our nation, Patriot Guard Riders participation has once again been requested to assist in honoring the hundreds of first responders and military personnel - and thousands of civilians - who gave their lives that day.  St. Agnes School will be hosting this Remembrance Ceremony for the community, veterans, first responders and students.

PGR has participated in this Ceremony for several years, and our presence is always very much appreciated. St. Agnes School (in its 149th year) in the Village of Avon is a small Catholic school serving children of all faiths from pre-school through sixth grade in Livingston County and southern Monroe County communities. This school has a strong history of teaching our future leaders in the respect and celebration of our Nation, military and first responders. It is always very rewarding each year to witness the respect and patriotism of these young people.

The CDC has changed its COVID-19 protocol recommendations for 2024, updating them to reflect the changing severity and transmission of the virus. Please click here for the latest information and continue to practice common sense distancing protocols while in enclosed locations.

Special Information:

Ceremony begins at 9:30 AM. PGR will escort the students from St. Agnes School over to the Monument on Circle Park at 9:15 AM, and provide a flag line during the ceremony. Ceremony will conclude with a PGRNY ride-by around the circle.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag, and dress for the weather.
