About the Mission:

We are approaching the 52nd anniversary of the tragedy that was the 1971 Attica Prison Riot.  Patriot Guard Riders has once again been requested to stand with The Forgotten Victims of Attica to remember and honor the eleven heroes that died as a result of the riot.

We will stand a flag line for the Memorial Service honoring the lives and service of those NYS Correction Officers, Civilian Employees and their families who have lived with these tragic memories for 52 years. Let us help them honor their loved ones lost.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Staging is at the Village Park at 3:30pm. KSU at 4:15pm for the short ride to the Prison for the 4:30pm Memorial Service.

As in years past, PGR is invited to the reception at the QWL Building after the Service.
