About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been invited by Western New York National Cemetery staff to participate in the Wreaths Across America Ceremony and laying of the wreaths. The Ceremony consist of a brief speech and presentation of the Colors for each branch of service starting at 12:00 noon. Around 200 to 250 citizens from surrounding communities will take part in the wreath laying to ensure each of the 2,500 plus veterans will receive a wreath. This event is educational, honorable and respectful toward our veterans.

The CDC has changed its COVID-19 protocol recommendations for 2024, updating them to reflect the changing severity and transmission of the virus. Please click here for the latest information and continue to practice common sense distancing protocols while in enclosed locations.

Special Information:

Members will meet at Main Office parking lot. After a brief meeting, PGR will stand at main flag pole for the ceremony. After the ceremony, PGR will join in the laying of the wreaths. The staff at the cemetery may need our assistance with unloading and loading of the busses.
