About the Mission:
On 10 March 2023 PGR participated in honoring the life and service of Buffalo Firefighter Jason D. Arno, who tragically lost his life on 1 March 2023 while fighting a 4-alarm fire in Buffalo.

The Tunnel To Towers (T2T) Foundation has paid off Jason Arno's mortgage to benefit his wife, Sarah. T2T has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in a ceremony to commemorate this wonderful event.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stage at Engine 2 in preparation to participate in the short (less than 1 mile) escort to Buffalo Fire Department Headquarters, 68 Court Street, Buffalo, NY 14202, where the ceremony will be held. The escort will have LEO and Fire Department assistance.
For the ceremony, please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American flag to form a flag line.
Thank you for taking time to help make this T2T presentation a very special and memorable event for the family of Buffalo Firefighter Jason D. Arno, who gave his life in service to the City of Buffalo.
UPDATE - Parking availability at Buffalo Fire Department Headquarters is limited, especially during a work day. At the request of the Buffalo Fire Department Commissioner, PGR is respectfully limited to five (5) vehicles in the escort. At the request of Lead Ride Captain Tom Murphy, please contact him to make arrangements for carpooling.
