About the Mission:

Again this year, the SUNY Erie Community College Veterans Organization has requested Patriot Guard Riders' help in the recognition of past and present military veterans of the school. They are hosting the annual Veterans Recognition Football Game and would welcome any support from Patriot Guard Riders to participate in a motor escort of our players onto the field.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Line up would be at 11:30 a.m., escort at 12:00 p.m., 12:15 p.m. event complete. Riders would line up on the asphalt track surrounding the field and then ride around the field prior to dismounting for the National Anthem.  Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or Branch flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached for the escort.
