About the Mission:

Joanne Joyce, sister-in-law of our beloved RC Joe Joyce, has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in a special Veteran's Day event. Joann is a teacher at Pembroke Primary School.

From the requestor: "On November 10th we do a Veterans celebration. We would like for our children to see what you do and to talk to them. It will be no more than an hour and then we do a breakfast for everyone [including PGR members.] If the weather is good and the motorcycles were to come, we would have the kids outside to watch. Thank you for your time. You all have a special place in my heart."

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American flag or military branch flag of your choice.
Please consider participating in this Veteran's Day event, which will hopefully provide a positive influence on these young children.
PLEASE NOTE: This Mission conflicts with the Veteran's Day Ceremony at the nearby WNY National Cemetery. Please communicate with each other to ensure there is coverage for both events.
