About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has again been requested to participate in a very honorable event for Veterans and their families.

From the requester: "This will be our 10th annual celebration of the Veterans Appreciation Day. We are estimating to have 350 to 400 Veterans and their families in attendance and looking forward to having Patriot Guard Riders meet them at the front door to give them the hero welcome we want to convey throughout the entirety of the event. We offer them free haircuts, massages, and a sheet of basket raffle tickets, in addition to having a fabulous band and great food. And this is free to any veterans and their family and the general public is invited to attend for $15. You can find the flyer for the event on our Facebook page: Hands Healing Heroes. Thank you.!"

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will provide a flag line at the event entrance as a patiotic welcome to the attendees, who are expected to begin arriving at approx. 11:30 AM. PGR responsibilities should end by 1:00 PM, but members are invited/encouraged to remain through the event.
