About the Mission:
Flag Day Celebration at Thomas A. Edison Elementary School. Patriot Guard Riders has participated in this event for several years. The staff and children really love our presence.
UPDATE: STAND DOWNThe school has canceled the event due to unfavorable weather conditions in the forecast.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Stage across the street from the school. PLEASE ensure you DO NOT bring any weapons on school grounds. Region-2 RC Bob Wheeler will lead this Mission, as his daughter is a member of the school staff. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:50 PM, and will consist of the following: Kids come out to the front lawn; Quick words by the principal; 3 songs by the students; Parade around the building. Fire trucks will also be present. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American flag, and dress for the weather.
