UPDATED

Special Information: Procession and Parking Updates
1. Monroe County Sheriff escort is confirmed. There will be two patrol cars. We will process obeying all traffic signals.
2. Parking for those meeting the procession at the airport: Please park in short term parking. There will be a small number of parking passes
3. Procession parking: Motorcycles will park on the Departure Driveway at the far east end. Park 2x2 to take up as little room as possible. Cars for the veterans and their families will park at the last door.

Joe McQueen has agreed to organize the flag line for the arrival of the procession at the airport. Meet him up by the furthest east Departures door to the terminal.

9:30am, PGR members will form a flag line for the veterans to transfer to their transportation.  9:45am, PGR members will escort the veterans to Frederick Douglas International Airport.  Monroe County Sheriffs are expected for the escort.  The procession is expected at the airport between 10:15am and 10:30am.

At the airport, PGR members will form a flag line for the arrival of the procession and for the transfer of the veterans into the airport.  If you are unable to attend the escort, please meet at the airport Departures entrance nearest the Delta ticket counter.  Depending on events, PGR members may stage an additional flag line inside the terminal for the embarkation of the veterans through security.

Please come prepared with a clean US, US Army, or US Navy flag; ensure vehicle flags are securely attached for expressway speeds; dress for the weather - current forecast temperatures in the low 80s and a chance of rain.

Thank you for your time in sending these two WWII veterans off to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion.
