About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor of another American hero. Willie L. Hunley served over 10 years, and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6). He served foreign duty in Okinawa during the Vietnam Era. For his service, SSGT Hunley earned a Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon, Meritorious Mast (3 Awards), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal (2 Awards), Letter of Recognition, Pistol Sharpshooter and Rifle Sharpshooter Medal.

Special Information:
Members will stand an honorable flag line for the arrival of our hero's family and guests.There will be a wake at 11:00, then a funeral service at 12:00. After the service and a dignified transfer, PGR will escort the cortege to Lakeside Cemetery, 4810 Camp Rd., Hamburg, New York for interment with military honors. Please arrive on time with an American or US Marine Corp Flag and dress for the weather. Mr Hunley is the brother of Marine Corps veteran Harvey Hunley, who PGR honored at his funeral services in February of 2023.
