About the Mission:
The family of Wilbur A. Gray has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors Interment services at Western New York National Cemetery. Mr. Gray passed 5 Aug, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Gray was born 4 April 1947 in Batavia N.Y. He entered the Army on 16 August 1967, and served our nation honorably for 2 years and 7months, with 1 year and 26 days in Vietnam as a Helicopter Mechanic (MOS 67N30) with the 238th Aviation, 1st Cavalry. For his service Mr. Gray was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, Marksman Badge (M-14) and Expert Badge (M-16). Mr. Gray is a passed Commander of the VFW post 1602 and the American Legion Post 332 in Batavia N.Y.

Members will stand flag line for arriving family and their hero. Arrival time is 10:00 to 10:15 am. At 10:30 am members will escort cortege to WNYNC for military honors at 11:00 am.
