About the Mission:
The family of WWII Army Veteran Vito A. Rinaldo has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Rinaldo passed on 21 November 2024 at the age of 100 with family at his side.
Vito served our nation for 18 months active duty, with a 6 month tour of duty in Normandy, France with Company "F", 9th Infantry Division, as an Infantryman. He was wounded in France on 29 August 1944, and honorably discharged at Thomas M. England General Hospital, Atlantic City, NJ on 13 October 1945. For his service Vito was awarded; Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star Medal, American Defense Service Medal, WWII Victory Medal and a Combat Infantry Badge. Vito was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and Knights of Columbus.

Special Information:
Members will stand flag line for arriving family and friends for Mass of Christian Burial. After a dignified transfer, members will escort our hero and family to St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
