About the Mission:
The family of Victor P. Korta has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services at Western New York National Cemetery. Mr. Korta passed on Nov. 27, 2023, with his family at his side, at the age of 89.
Born in Buffalo, NY on August 23, 1934, his interment will be on his 90th birthday. Victor entered the Army at 20 yrs. old and served our Nation honorably with 1 year and 11 months of active duty with 4 years reserve obligation. Mr. Korta served 1 year and 2 months in Augsburg, Germany with the 19th Infantry Battalion. Mr. Korta was awarded National Defense Service Medal and Army Occupation Medal (Germany)

Special Information:
Members will stand a respectful flag line for arriving family and friends. Family will arrive 1:00 to 1:15 pm. At 1:30 pm, members will escort our hero and family to WNYNC for interment with military honors. Bring water and make sure your flags are secure for the ride to the cemetery.
