About the Mission:
The family of Timothy R. Anderson has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Tim passed at home on April 17, 2024.
Born in Batavia NY, Tim attended local schools. After graduation, he joined the Army National Guard, serving between 1982 and 1987. His training was at Fort Benning, Georgia for four months. For his service, he was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Marksman (M-16) and Expert (Hand Grenade) badges. he later returned to Batavia with the 174th reserve infantry.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Members will stage at the funeral home and form a flag line for arriving family and guests. After a dignified transfer, members will escort our hero and his family to Pavilion Cemetery, 6909 Ellicott Street Road, Pavilion NY, 14525. Make sure your flags are secure, it is about 12 mile escort to the cemetery.
