| About the Mission: |
Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Thomas W. Panipinto, Jr. of Livonia/Interlaken, NY, who passed away unexpectedly on 6 June 2022. Mr. Panipinto served our nation for over 3 years on active duty in the US Army from 1976-1979, with an MOS of 12B20-Combat Engineer. He had 2 years, 10 months of foreign service in Germany, and was assigned to 2 units: Company A, 23rd Engineer Battalion and Company B, 4th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Engineer Brigade. Mr. Panipinto was honorably discharged from active duty on 10 October 1979, and he earned several weapons qualification badges. A full obituary is available for viewing online by clicking here |

Updated 8 March 2022Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
| Special Information: | (NOTE: PGR may be requested to provide an escort from the funeral home to the church. TBD) PGR will provide a respectful flag line at the church for arrival of the family and guests. The Funeral Mass is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM. Following the Mass and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to St. Michael's Cemetery, 4324 Shelly Road, Livonia, NY 14487 for burial with Military Honors. Click for map to cemetery Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
