About the Mission:
The family of Scott J. Munk has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services at Western New York National Cemetery. Scott passed on 22 January 2024 at the age of 49. Scott was born in Sheridan, Montana on 24 Aug 1974, and after graduating high school, he entered the Marine Cors on 16 August 1993, and served our nation as Light Armored Vehicle Crewman (MOS-313) and Water Safety/Survival Instructor (MOS-8563). Scott served two tours of duty in Okinawa, Japan. Scott was honorably discharged from active duty as Corporal on 15 December 1997, with reserve obligation ending 18 August 2000. For his service, Scott was awarded a Marine Corp Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with Bronze Star and a Letter of Appreciation.
