About the Mission:
The family of Mr. Ronald E. Ver Schage requested PGR to participate in honoring his service to America and celebrating his life. Mr. Ver Schage passed on June 17, 2023 at the age of 74.
Mr. Ver Schage is a US Army, Vietnam War Era veteran. He served Three years active duty from 1968-1971 and attained the rank of Specialist Five (SP-5, E-5) with an MOS of 22M20, NIKE Missile Repairman. Mr. Ver Schage spent two years, one month, of foreign duty, based in Miesau Army Depot, Germany with the 4th Ordnance Company, 72nd Ordnance Battalion. Mr. Ver Schage was honorably discharged from active duty 30 November 1971 and completed his reserve obligation 2 December 1974.
Specialist Five Ver Schage earned: National Defense Service Medal, Expert Qualification Badge - M-14 & M-16.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR members will form a flag line at the church about 9:15am in anticipation of the arrival of family and mourners. Family is expected to arrive between 9:30am and 9:45am. PGR members will continue the flag line until the beginning of services, expected at 10:00am. Following services (approximately one hour), PGR Members will perform a dignified transfer and then escort the procession to the cemetery. If you are unable to join us at the church, please meet us at the cemetery:

At the cemetery, PGR Members will participate in rendering honors during services. Following services, PGR Members will render a final salute as a group as Mr. Ver Schage is laid to his final rest.
Please come prepared with a clean, 3'x5' US or Army flag. Dress for the weather; the current forecast is for temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and thunderstorms. Bring your own water. Thank you for taking time to honor the service of Mr. Ver Schage and to support his loving family.
