About the Mission:
The family of US Navy Veteran Robert O. Culver has requested Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his military honors funeral services, Mr. Culver passed on 4 November 2025 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Culver entered the Navy on 13 May 1954 and served his nation for 24 months active service, including 13 months of foreign/sea service aboard the USS Lake Champlain (CVA-39), an Essex-class Aircraft Carrier named for the Battle of Lake Champlain, War of 1812. Mr. Culver was honorably discharged as Electricians Mate 3rd Class on 7 May 1956 at US Naval Base, Brooklyn, New York, with reserve obligation concluding 12 May of 1960.

Special Information:
Members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests for a prayer service. After a dignified transfer, PGR will escort Mr. Culver and family to Angola Cemetery, 9 Forest Ave., Angola, NY 14006 for interment with military honors. Do what you can to support Navy Veteran Mr. Culver and his loving family. Dress for the weather. Possible snow on Monday.
