About the Mission:

The family of Richard Stewart Judge has requested Patriot Guard Riders to join them in honoring him.  Richard, 96, passed on May 25, 2023.

Richard was a WWII Veteran who enlisted in October of 1944.  He went on to become an Aerographer's Mate. As an Aerographers Mate, he learned to use instruments that monitor weather characteristics such as air pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, the precursor to becoming a meteorologist. He was honorably discharged in 1946, and went on to Colgate University.

He graduated college, went on to work for the NYS DOT, started his family and upon retiring from the DOT, became the owner of "Memories of Radio", where he collected and sold old time radio broadcasts.  Richard was a member member of the Heuvelton Amvets, owner of Memories of Radio and a member of the Masons.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Please have a clean flag. Family to arrive by 10:45 am. We will be escorting Richard to Riverside Cemetery afterwards for a service.
