About the Mission:
The family of Richard Kirisits has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services. Richard, 85, Of Angola, NY, died Monday October 10, 2022, in the Elderwood at Hamburg Skilled Nursing Facility.
Mr. Kirisits was a Vietnam Era veteran, honorably discharged August 13th, 1965 with the rank of Airman Second Class.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR members will form a flag line for the arrival of the funeral director with Mr. Kirisits' remains. The funeral director is expected at 9:15 am. PGR members will stand a respectful flag line for family and mourners meeting at the cemetery between 9:30am and 10:00am. Services with graveside military honors will begin at 10:00am. Please bring a clean US or Air Force Flag and dress for the weather. At present the forecast calls for light rain and temperatures in the mid-40s.
