About the Mission:

The family of Richard James Sullivan has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services.  Richard passed on May 10, 2024 at the age of 97.

Mr. Sullivan was a WWII Veteran and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lumen (AKA-30), an Artemis-class attack cargo ship in the South Pacific. After his discharge from the Navy, he worked in construction for a short time and then later was employed by and retired from Rochester Telephone Company.

Special Information:

Please join me in honoring this World War II Veteran that didn’t want any recognition. We will stage at the funeral home at 10:15 and place our motorcycles along the entranceway and stand a flag line for a short time. On site briefing at 10:15 am with family due shortly thereafter. Burial details not yet set for Saturday at time of posting but will be private.
