About the Mission:
The family of Raymond N. Tette has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Tette of Livonia, NY passed away on 9 October 2023.
Mr. Tette served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Navy from 1968-1970, with a naval rating of Seaman (E-3). He had 20 months of sea service aboard the USS Allagash (AO97), a Cimarron-class oiler, which participated in Mediterranean cruises during Mr. Tette's service. Mr. Tette was honorably discharged from active duty on 26 June 1970, and he earned the National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Tette served as a member and past Captain of the Livonia Emergency Medical Service for 17 years, and he was a member of Harrison-Lee American Legion Post #283 in Livonia.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will assemble in preparation to provide an escort (KSU at 09:30 AM) to St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road (Rt. 20A), Livonia, NY 14487. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM. Following the Mass and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to St. Michael's Cemetery, Shelly Road, Livonia for burial with military honors.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
