About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to participate in honoring the life and service of Ralph Norman Heineman of Chaffee, NY, who passed away on 25 December 2021.
Mr. Heineman served our nation for 3 years on active duty in the US Army Infantry from 1959-1962, with an Army MOS of 112.60-Heavy Weapons Infantryman. He had over 2-1/2 years of foreign service in Germany, and he was assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, US Army Europe. Mr. Heineman was honorably discharged from active duty on 21 December 1962 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5), and he earned the Army of Occupation Medal (Berlin.)
Mr. Heineman donated his body to the University of Buffalo. An obituary has not been published.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stage at the Town Hall in preparation to ride the short distance together to the Heinemann family home for the Memorial Celebration of Life and Military Honors, scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
