About the Mission:
The family of Peter Yauchzee has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his military service and celebrating his life. Mr Yauchzee passed away 25 May 2024 at the age of 80 years old.
Mr. Yauchzee is a US Marine Corps veteran. He served four months, and was honorably discharged 20 November 1964. He served as a Private (Pvt, E-1) with an MOS of 9900, Basic Marine; he served with the 2nd Recon Training Battalion, Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California. Mr. Yauchzee earned: Nation Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Yauchzee's active duty service did not end his service to America. He served the community through membership in American Legion Post #468 - Greece, NY.

Special Information:
PGR members will form a flag line for the arrival of Mr. Yauchzee's remains, expected at 8:45am. We will hold the flag line until the beginning of services, expected at 9:30am. At that time there will be a dignified transfer into the church. Following services, members will perform a dignified transfer and escort to:

If you are unable to join us at the church, please consider meeting us at the cemetery. Either the Dewey Ave entrance (West side), or at the gravesite, South 55.
PGR members will perform a dignified transfer and render honors graveside with the military honor guard. Services are expected to begin at approximately 11:00am.
Please come prepared with a clean US or US Marine Corps flag and ensure your vehicle flags are firmly attached for the escort. Dress for the weather, current forecast is for temperatures in the high 60s and a chance of rain.
