About the Mission:
The family of Vietnam War Era veteran Peter Amenta, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Amenta, Jr. of North Tonawanda, NY passed away on 9 November 2023 at the age of 72.
Mr. Amenta, Jr. served our nation for 1 year, 7 months on active duty in the US Army from 1970-1972, with an Army MOS of 63C20-Track Vehicle Mechanic. He had 10 months of foreign duty in Germany, assigned to Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 32nd Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Division. Mr. Amenta was honorably discharged from active duty on 4 January 1972 with the rank of Specialist Four (E-4), and he earned the Army Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will assemble with a respectful flag line in preparation for the dignified transfer of Mr. Amenta, Jr., followed by the escort to White Chapel Memorial Park, 3210 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, NY 14228 for interment with Military Honors.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached. Thank you for devoting your time to help honor the US Army service of Peter Amenta, Jr., and to support his loving family.
