About the Mission:
The family of Korean War Era Veteran Percy Gagnon has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Gagnon of North Tonawanda, NY passed away on 29 June 2023.
Mr. Gagnon served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1953-1955, with an Army MOS of 1740-Chief Intermediate Speed Radio Operator. His service included 15 months of foreign duty in Germany, and he was assigned to Bravo Company, 37th Engineer Battalion. mr. gagnon was honorably discharged from active duty on 14 March 1955 with e rank of Private First Class (PFC, E-3), and he earned the following awards: Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal (Germany).
Mr. Gagnon was a life member of AMVETS Post 26, and a member of American Legion Sikora Post 1322 in North Tonawanda, NY.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of the escort from Williamsville. KSU at 9:35 AM for the escort to Western NY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 10:00 AM interment with Military Honors. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
