About the Mission:

The family of Nelson J. Aldinger has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors interment. Mr. Aldinger passed on 7 June 2025 at the age of 86, surrounded by his family.

After graduating from high school in Lancaster, NY, Mr. Aldinger entered the US Army on 14 November 1961.  He served 23 months active service, including 16 months in Karlsruhe, Germany as Truck-Crane operator with the 93rd Engineers. Mr. Aldinger was honorably discharged as Corporal on 7 November 1963 at Fort Hamilton, NY, with reserve obligations concluding 13 November 1967.

After his military service, Mr. Aldinger owned and operated a construction company for 32 years, retiring at 68 years old.

Special Information:

Members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. After a prayer service and dignified transfer, PGR will escort family and their hero to Darien Cemetery for military honors interment. The escort is only half a mile west of the church on Broadway Rd. There are several missions this weekend, so do what you can to support our heroes.
