About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Michael Sarachman, who passed away on 14 August 2022.
Mr. Sarachman served our nation for almost 4 years on active duty in the US Air Force, with a Specialty of 43151 - Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. He had 18 months of foreign service, assigned to the 374th Organizational Maintenance Squadron, US Air Force Pacific. Mr. Sarachman was honorably discharged from active duty on 17 October 1969 with the rank of Sergeant (E-4), and he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, and Cold War Service Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family. KSU at 12:35 PM for the escort to WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 1:00 PM Interment Ceremony and Military Honors. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
