About the Mission:
The family of Vietnam War Era veteran Michael D. Murawski has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Murawski of Calabash, NC, formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away on 11 November 2023.
Mr. Murawski served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army Air Defense Artillery Branch from 1968-1970, with an Army MOS of 64A10-Light Vehicle Driver. He was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, 18th Artillery Group (Air Defense), Army Air Defense Command. Mr. Murawski was honorably discharged from active duty on 12 March 1970 with the rank of Specialist Four (E-4), and he earned the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Sharpshooter Qualification Badges for M-14 and M-16 Rifles.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests. The funeral service and military honors is scheduled for 11:00 AM. There is no cemetery or escort involved in this Mission.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather. Thank you for taking time to help honor the US Army service of Michael D. Murawski, and to support his loving family.
