About the Mission:

The family of Marshall Brian Fox has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Fox passed away on 8 June 2023.

Mr. Fox served our nation for a total of 11 years on active duty in the US Army from 1983-1993, serving during the Gulf War Era. His Army MOS was 13F20-Fire Support Specialist. He had 3 years of foreign service in Germany and Denmark, and was honorably discharged from active duty at Fort Campbell, KY on 3 February 1987 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5.) Mr. Fox earned the following awards: Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal (3 Awards); National Defense Service Medal; Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon (2 Awards); Army Service Ribbon; Army Overseas Service Ribbon; Expert Qualification badges for Rifle and Hand Grenade.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will stage with a respectful flag line in preparation for the arrival of the funeral home and family. KSU at 12:35 PM for the escort to WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 1:00 PM Interment Ceremony with Military Honors.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
We have a very busy schedule in the Region this week. Please do your best to help support the upcoming Missions, including this one for US Army Veteran Marshall B. Fox, and to support his loving family.
