About the Mission:

The family of Gulf War Era veteran Major Jean Marie Dellies has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring her life and service. Mrs. Dellies of Altus, OK passed away 21 February 2024.

Captain Dellies served our nation for 15 years on active duty in the US Air Force, from 1985-2000. She had the following Air Force Specialties: 046N3-Clinical Nurse; MO46N3-Medical Service Specialist, Clinical Nurse; and MO46N3D-Medical Service Specialist Staff Development. Major Dillies had 14 months of foreign service (location TBD), and she received her honorable retirement on 31 July 2000.

For her service to our nation, Major Dellies earned the following awards: Meritorious Service Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster (2 Awards); Air Force Commendation Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster (2 Awards); Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon w/4 Oak Leaf Clusters (5 Awards); National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Award w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters (3 Awards); Air Force Training Ribbon; and NATO Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Following the dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to St. Michaels Cemetery, Shelly Road, Livonia, NY for interment with military honors.
