About the Mission:
The family of retired US Army/Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Paul G. Moses has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his exemplary military career. LTC Moses of Hamlin, NY passed away on 9 October 2023.
LTC Moses served our nation for a total of 27 years from 1980 - 2007, including 13 years of US Army active duty, and over 5 years of foreign duty, including a deployment to Afghanistan. He held the following MOS's during his career: Mechanized Infantry Officer/Parachutist; Operations, Plans & Training Officer/Mortar Unit Officer; and Civil Affairs Officer.
LTC Moses received his retirement from the US Army Reserve in July 2007, and during his career he earned the following awards: Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster (2 Awards); Army Commendation Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters (3 Awards); Army Achievement Medal; National Defense Service Medal w/1 Service Star (2 Awards-Persian Gulf War & GWOT); Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/"M" Device (Mobilization); Army Service Ribbon; Army Overseas Service Ribbon; and Army Parachutist Badge.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of LTC Moses, the family and the funeral director. KSU at 10:30 AM for the escort to WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 11:00 AM Committal w/Military Honors.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached. Thank you for taking time to help honor the exemplary military career of LTC Paul G. Moses. and to support his proud and loving family.
