About the Mission:

The family of retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Dennis A. Haraszko has requested PGR participation in honoring his military career and his life. LTC Haraszko passed away on 31 July 2023.

LTC Haraszko served our nation for over 24 years on active duty in the US Army from 1964-1988, with MOS's of 13A-Field Artillery Officer, and 42A-Personnel Administration. He had a total of over 6 years of foreign service, including duty in Vietnam. LTC Haraszko received his honorable retirement on 30 November 1988, and he earned the following awards for his exemplary service: Bronze Star Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster (2 Awards); Defense Meritorious Service Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters (3 Awards); Meritorious Service Medal; Air Medal; Army Commendation Medal w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters (4 Awards); Joint Service Commendation Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Humanitarion Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Army Overseas Service Ribbon w/Number "3"; and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and friends for the 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial, followed by Military Honors. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
