About the Mission:
The family of Kenneth L. Lehman has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Lehman of Andover, NY passed away on 11 May 2023.
Mr. Lehman served our nation for 4 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1970, with an Air Force Specialty of 29150-Communications Center Specialist. He had 18 months of foreign service in the Philippines, and his last duty assignment was with the 47th Communications Group, Air Defense Command. Mr. Lehman was honorably discharged from active duty on 31 July 1970 with the rank of Airman First Class (E-3) and he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Mr. Lehman was very active for many years with the Andover American Legion Honor Guard.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
IMPORTANT: Please do not arrive earlier than 1:00 PM, as the family will be having a gathering at the church. PGR will provide a flag line as the Andover and Wellsville American Legions conduct a short Salute to their Comrade at 1:30 PM. KSU at 1:45 for the escort to Bath National Cemetery for the 3:00 PM interment with Military Honors.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or USAF flag, dress for the weather, and make very sure that your large flags are securely attached for the 35-mile escort.
