About the Mission:

The family of Vietnam War Veteran Kendall J. Hebner has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Hebner of Panama Beach, FL, formerly of Sinclairville, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Mr. Hebner served our nation for 3 years on active duty in the US Army from 1968-1971, with an Army MOS of 64C20-Truckmaster. He had a 12-month deployment in South Vietnam from February 1969-February 1970. His final duty assignment was with US Army Infantry Brigade, US Army Test & Evaluation Command, US Army Intelligence Corps at Fort Benning, GA. Mr. Hebner was honorably discharged on 30 July 1971 with the rank of Specialist Five (E-5), and he earned the following awards:
National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars (4 Awards); Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; 2 Overseas Service Bars; and Driver & Mechanic Qualification Badges.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and friends, and during the visitation from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte Center Road, Sinclairville, NY 14782.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather, Thank you for devoting your time to help honor the Vietnam War service of Kendal J. Hebner, and to support his loving family.
