About the Mission:
The family of John W. Driscoll, Jr. of Avon, NY has requested PGRNY to stand in honor of his life and service. Mr. Driscoll passed away on 8 September 2022.
Mr. Driscoll, Jr. served for 2 years in the Air National Guard from 1954-1956, then went on to serve for 4 years on active duty in the US Air Force from 1956-1960. His Air Force Specialty was 27350A-Aircraft Control and Warning Operator, and he served at several duty stations in Mississippi, Idaho, Washington State, and 12 months of foreign service in Labrador. Mr. Driscoll, Jr. was honorably discharged from active duty on 17 April 1960 with the rank of Airman 1st Class (E-4), and he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, and Cold War Service Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family and funeral director. KSU at 1:35 PM for the escort to the WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu, NY 14036 for the 2:00 PM interment ceremony with Military Honors. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or USAF flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
