About the Mission:

The family of John J. Wackowski has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors and Interment. Mr. Wackowski passed at the age of 90 on 15 June 2025 surrounded by his family.

He entered the Army on 6 May 1960 at the age of 26. Mr. Wackowski was assigned to B Battery, 2nd Howitzer Battalion, 31st Artillery, 4th US Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served his nation stateside for 24 months, and was honorably discharged on 16 May 1962, with reserve obligation concluding 5 May 1966.

Special Information:

Members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. After mass and dignified transfer, PGR will escort Mr. Wackowski and his family to St. Matthew's Cemetery for military honors and interment. There are several missions posted for R1. Thank you for supporting our veterans.
