About the Mission:
The family of John J. Branche has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services at Western New York National Cemetery. Mr. Branche passed 7 September 2024 at the age of 81 with family by his side.
After graduating from Notre Dame High School in Batavia, NY, Mr. Branche entered the Air Force on 27 December 1962, and served our nation honorably for almost 4 years as a Ground Radar Operator (AFSC 29350), in the Pacific Command Area, including 1year and 6 months in Vietnam. Mr. Branche was released from active duty 22 November 1966 at the rank of Airman First Class, and for his service, was awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
After his service Mr. Branche made a career at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY.

Special Information:
Members will stand flag line for arriving family and guests. After a dignified transfer, members will escort our hero and family to WNYNC for interment with military honors scheduled for 1:00 pm. Bring water and dress for the weather.
