About the Mission:
The family of John H. Williams has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services at Western New York National Cemetery. John passed peacefully at home in Honeoye Falls, NY on November 20, 2023.
Born on June 16, 1925 in Cleveland Ohio, John served our nation honorably in the US Navy during WW II from May 3, 1943, to April 21, 1946. He held a rating of Machinist Mate 2nd Class, and worked repairing Packard engines used in Torpedo Boats. He also served on the USS Attu, a Casablanca Class escort carrier, ferrying aircraft and supplies to carriers during the invasion of Iwo Jima. For his service, our hero was awarded an American Area Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Area Ribbon and WW II Victory Ribbon.

Members will form a flag line for arriving family and our hero. KSU at 1:30 p.m. to escort our hero to WNYNC at 1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14487 Make sure your flags are secure and bring water. Temps will be close to 90.
