About the Mission: | Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of James R. Hastie of West Seneca, NY, who passed away on 28 May 2022. Mr. Hastie served our nation for almost 4 years on active duty in the US Navy from 1966-1969, with a naval rating of ADR - Aviation Machinist's Mate (Reciprocating Engine Mechanic). His duty stations included Training Squadron Three (TRARON THREE) at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, Milton, Florida. Mr. Hastie was honorably discharged from active duty on 12 November 1969 with the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
Special Information: | PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests. The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM. Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to St. Matthew's Cemetery, 180 French Road at Clinton Street, West Seneca, NY 14224 for interment with Military Honors.
