About the Mission:

The family of James R. Fish has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. James passed on 9 February 2025 at the age of 77 with his family at his side.

James entered the US Army on 1 February 1966 at the age of 19, serving his nation for 32 months active duty, including a 25 month tour of duty in Vietnam as a Loader Operator (MOS- 62M20 ). Mr. Fish was assigned to "A" Company, 20th Engineer Battalion at Cam Rahn Bay building air fields, roads and bridges. He was honorably discharged on 6 October 1968 at Fort Lewis, Washington. Mr. Fish was awarded; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars and a Sharpshooter Badge ( M- 14 ).
