About the Mission:
The family of James P. Stuhler has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his military service. James passed on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at age 75.
After graduating high school, Jim was drafted into the US Army where he excelled as an expert sharpshooter and was assigned to the 3rd US Infantry Regiment (Old Guard), as an Honor Guard member at Arlington National Cemetery. James repaired & refinished the rifle stocks and participated in the procession and Honor Guard when former President Eisenhower visited D.C. for Nixon's inauguration.
In 1971, after his military service, he came back to Rochester and worked at Kodak for the next 28 years. Jim then started his own roofing company with his son, Jeffrey, for the next 25 years. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troup 292 for 25 years and a very talented carpenter.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will form a flag line to greet the family and friends for James' service and escort the procession to North Chili Rural Cemetery, on Buffalo Rd. for his dignified transfer and interment.
