About the Mission:
The family of James E. Grossman has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service to our nation. Mr. Grossman, 87, passed on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Born in Andover, NY, Mr. Grossman was a 1954 graduate of Andover Central School. He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958 and again from 1960 to 1966, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. For his service, he was awarded a Bronze Star, Army Good Conduct Medal (2 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (3 awards), Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation w/Palm, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Expert Qualification Badge w/Auto Rifle & Carbine Bars.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Patriot Guard Riders will form a flag line for arrival of the funeral cortege. Military honors will follow after a brief service. Please make sure your flags are presentable.
