About the Mission:

The family of James D Wagner has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral and military honors. Mr Wagner was born in Youngstown NY in 1933 and passed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 91.

Mr. Wagner enlisted in the Army, serving from 1953 to 1955 with 1 year in Korea attached to the 570th Ordnance Company. He was honorably discharged in 1955, and for his service, was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Members will form flag line for arriving family and guest. After a dignified transfer of our hero, members will escort Mr. Wagner and family to St. Peter and Paul Church, 66 East Main St, Hamburg NY for a Mass Of Christian Burial. Make sure your flags are secure and clean for the escort.
