About the Mission:
The family of Jacque H. Barber, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Barber passed on 30 September 2024 at the age of 76 with family at his side.
Born in Rochester, NY on 21 September 1948, Mr. Barber entered the US Army on 25 January 1966. He served our nation for 4 years on active duty, including 2 tours of duty in Vietnam, 29 January 1967 to 9 May 1969, as a Cook (MOS-94B20). He was honorably discharged at Fort Mead, Maryland on 20 March 1970, with reserve obligations ending 24 January 1972. For his service to our nation he was awarded; Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Sharpshooter Badge ( M- 14) and 2 Overseas Bars.

Members will stand flag line for arriving family and Mr. Barber at cemetery. After a dignified transfer, military honors will be conducted. Dress for the weather. Thank you for standing for our hero.
