About the Mission:
The family of Jacob T. Mashburn of Orchard Park, NY has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Mashburn passed away on 19 April 2023.
Mr. Mashburn served our nation for almost 8 years on active duty in the US Air Force from 1996-2004. He had 2 Primary Specialties: 2T151-Vehicle Operations Journeyman and 6F051-Financial Management & Comptroller. Military history is pending, but we know that Mr. Mashburn served with the 347 Rescue Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia where he was honorably discharged from active duty on 6 April 2004 with the rank of Senior Airman (E-4).
SRA Mashburn earned the following awards: Air Force Achievement Medal; Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/Valor; Air Force Outstanding Unit Award w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster; Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters; National Defense Service Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Award; NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon; and Air Force Training Ribbon.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family and guests, and during calling hours from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM. A funeral service with Military Honors is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, and dress for the weather.
